  1. After starting, let it idle for 3-5 minutes, then begin to check if each system is functioning normally.

  2. Determine the specifications of the fixture based on the workpiece to be processed, and adjust the tightness of the fixture to make it easy to clamp and secure.

  3. Adjust the machine tool: Based on the shape and length of the workpiece, adjust the appropriate tailstock position, tighten the tailstock, retract the grinding wheel a certain distance, install the workpiece, and start the spindle to make the workpiece rotate. Check: whether the rotation is normal, whether the contact between the fixture and the machine tool pin is appropriate, and whether it is convenient and quick to stop the spindle and remove the workpiece. 4. Dress the grinding wheel: Dress the grinding wheel to the profile according to the workpiece drawing (especially note: before each dressing, be sure to retract the grinding wheel to a safe point where it can maintain a distance from the diamond pen tip after the tool is fed in, push the handle to bring the grinding wheel close to the dressing tool holder, and then slowly rotate the dial to let the grinding wheel slowly contact the diamond pen, feeding in small amounts for dressing).

  5. Tool setting: Install the workpiece, adjust the position of the grinding wheel to align with the position of the workpiece to be processed, and to ensure safety, the grinding wheel should be retracted a certain distance. Feed in, and slowly contact the workpiece for tool setting.

  6. Inspection, be cautious during processing! The cutting amount should not be too large, generally not exceeding 0.1 mm on one side, and the dial should be retracted for each feeding process. Wait until the grinding wheel contacts the workpiece before slowly rotating the dial to the processing position; otherwise, there is a risk of bursting the grinding wheel.
